Maybe we will start to get people who want to teach into the profession if we actually focus on what teaching is all about and not just about promotion

I am so tired. Tired of hearing about inclusive trusts that end up with less pupils at the end than they began with.
Tired of hearing how just not suspending is inclusive
How setting up an AP is inclusive
How saying you can’t meet need is inclusive.

Well maybe if the DFE had people who are changing attendance patterns through good pastoral care leading a national discussion we would see a difference.
