I have finished THE THING! Pretty solid, and the effects were very good albeit disgusting. It probably won't join my regular '80s rotation, but I'm glad I've finally seen it and still managed to be surprised at times.

The Thing is pretty solid so far, but since everyone is a dude in this movie, and I'm not paying complete attention, I'm a little confused who's who in general and who's dead.
