We started with an introduction to the Multispecies Coalescent by Yuttapong Thawornwattana.

We're on tenterhooks for tomorrow's BPP sessions!

And spent the afternoon being guided through divergence time estimation and using MCMCTree by @sabifo4.bsky.social

After Tomas Flouris's in depth overview of Bayesian probabilities and MCMC, we got a whirlwind tour of PhyloBayes's model testing capabilities from @anaserrasilva.bsky.social
