Pelican inaction, yesterday.
Happy mother's day to the mothers. Last night the 11yo and 12yo made me dinner. Steak and (homemade) chips with salad. Freshly squeezed orange juice. Orange and chocolate muffins.
It was delicious and amazing. And I felt really appreciated.

Cookie update. Posted about his upcoming vet appt & our concerns about getting him in a carrier for the transport. We got lots of great suggestions from you all. Bad video but set up a carrier for him to get used to. Went right in. Feels safe. Baby steps. My what big paws you have Cookie. Hugs 🩷
Going back to this @damatthook.bsky.social I did some flat ground pedaling looking for a bike rack just a bit ago. I didn't notice any dynamic braking or extra drag with the motor assist off, amd it felt fine on flat ground. Could see the weight on hills being a thing though.
