Haven't been working on any projects in a while, just doodling for the most part. Had a lovely holiday with my partner and now I'm directing my energy towards my speedruns, so I can be ready for the relay later this month 🐱
They aren't any specific character (not right now, anyway), I just drew them to experiment with lineart. I really want to bring more detail into my linework, and I think this is a good first step 🙂

Wanted to put together a 2025 in review, but I don't think I've been drawing enough to fill it out... Will keep looking but rest assured, it's something I intend to remedy this year. 😄

Started on a new long-term project on TWWM, inspired by a staff member's similar project 🙂 The goal is to roll dice for every hundred esk on the masterlist and then draw them. This is my first batch.
Not sure how far I will get through the over 8,000 esk, but I will try to do them all!
I had a lot of very directionless but passionate inspiration for this one, just had to get it all out. Promise my next upload won't be couple art! 👉👈
We'll see – last time I tried to visit, I took a wrong turn and got stuck in the Tenth Dimension for a week. 🙄
Been badly wanting to go for a swim, so I painted this one to let off that energy. Maybe I can hit the beach once the weather gets good. Any day now...

Without revealing too much, I made a couple of (good!) life changes shortly after my holiday which came with a lot of work. Most of my hobbies had to take a back seat for a month or two while I figured it all out 🌞
Still alive, just haven't been drawing much since Art Fight. I did knock out a series of pictures for TWWM which has helped me get back into the swing of things, so we'll see what happens next...

This is a fursona I helped a dear friend to design. It was so much fun, I love the way it's turned out and in particular I really enjoyed drawing the droopy mouth. I'm honoured to have been able to help them!

Most of the art I've been up to has been literature for TWWM, which I am definitely not posting to Bsky, but it's gotta go up on my dA either way.
So, update on those art projects... uhh, been playing a lot of Spyro recently 😅 Spyro 3 is actually quite fun when you can beat it in one sitting, turns out.
(The projects are still ongoing, of course, just pacing myself a Lot now that I'm otherwise not busy all June.)

Here's a picture I drew of my new Neopet a few weeks back. His name is syk3s and I love him ♥
He was initially meant to be colour-changing, but the thermochromic pigment I have doesn't activate until it reaches 31C... It doesn't get hot enough here, I'd hate for him to be cold forever 😭
Well, I broke out the clay again, and made this dapper fellow for @ughitstyler.bsky.social for his birthday 😄 I'm really happy with how he turned out and doubt this will be the last sculpture I make for gifts this year.
A bit more abstract than what I'm used to, but I did this one last weekend to test a kind of cool idea I had at work. I quite liked how it turned out and think it has great potential, so will probably pocket it for other projects in the future 😁
Keep wanting to do some art but life keeps life-ing 😔 Sunk around 10 hours into my current project, with any luck I can find some more time on the weekend.
