One of my head canons for selunite Shadowheart is that the reason she's not as hardcore devoted as she was as a sharran is because she's deeply embarrassed she went through her emo phase in her late 40s. Got nostalgic and turned on my DS with Soul Silver. All those legendaries exported from different games + my very first shiny ever (it's insane that these digital creatures are the same age when I was when I caught them...)

They keep in touch with everyone but with three people they have a bit stronger bond. It's Astarion, Karlach and Jaheira. Karlach after fixing the engine works at Connie's parents' tavern, so they keep a close contact, Astarion lives rent free at their farm most of the year.

"Sounds like a fanatic if you ask me," Karlach says, "I thought they'd be a chipper chap, like Porter." Shadowheart drawls, "It's a wonder they're friends with Aldiirn at all, they couldn't agree on anything."

Shadowheart continues, rolling her eyes. "Aldiirn invoked their god to convince Zahne to join us, but working with 'outsiders' just wasn't appealing. Typical Vhaeraunite, short-sighted and arrogant."

Immediately, the group gangs up on Shadowheart for the new information she's dropped. "Vhaeraun?" Wyll questions. Astarion smiles with glee at mention of, "The Masked Lord of Shadows!" "Porter's the last fella who would worship a chaotic evil fuckgod like that!" Karlach takes offence. "Um, I, eeuummmm," Shadowheart stalls by sipping her glass

Shadowheart finds herself haunted by the cute, innocent image of Aldiirn. "You wouldn't tell them about me and Vhaeraun, would you?" he lilts and lays on the guilt, "Half-drow men have it hard enough even without being demonized for following a god who gives us hope for equality... what would the others think of you for betraying my trust and stirring up trouble?" "I meant singular they," Shadowheart corrects, slumped in defeat. "Vhaeraun is Zahne's go, Aldiirn couldn't be further from his... usual type of worshipper."

The camp gossip continues and Shadowheart makes another unintentional revelation, buuuut luckily she's saved by grammar. Wouldn't want to disappoint Aldiirn by blabbing his secrets! #bg3 #art
