The length. Just 500 words. I'm of an age that writing by hand is more natural than typing. 😂 I don't do it for longer stories; I end up editing and forgetting what I wrote then typing out new stuff and making a mess of things so longer pieces just get typed from the start

Hour 2 (sort of?): 9am

The story has written itself. Time to type.

Sometimes prompts do not spark joy. 😂 But I set my brain to the task while I slept, and it came up with an idea that (hopefully🤞) won't be done by everyone else participating this month.

September was rough 💔 Family health struggles + a new job meant writing slipped away. But today — a lift 🌸✨ Two of my poems were accepted by Hibiscus Lit Mag! Grateful, teary, and holding onto the reminder that words still find their place 🥹💌
