22.06.2025 00:41 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0By far, my favorite pattern of programming with an AI is the Ping Pong Pattern. I have it write several tests based on a description. I use that to TDD some methods, and boom, we're done.

Putting my money where my mouth is. 90% of the research I did for our new HVAC unit and mini split was done in ChatGPT.
It was a blend of information and consideration questions.
And this is why we spent so much time building out categorization in Knowatoa.
I've recently discovered Swedish Electric and have been listening to Little Dragon non stop. Anyone got other recommendations?

There's all this debate on whether AI generated code should be used or not. I look at it as another tool.
I'm giving our junior marketer access to our backroom to retrieve some metrics for our weekly report. The report doesn't have to be 100% bug proof or elegant, it just has work.
“First time founder”
04.04.2025 23:37 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0One of the most essential skills you need to develop as a founder is to differentiate whether people are excited to work with you vs your product.
With the former, it can give you false momentum and leave you wondering why people aren’t buying your product.

If you’re active and have credibility then cold outreach with a drip works.
We use phantombuster for that.
100% but it depends on your ICP. A good place to start is to pay for LI sales navigator and use the filters there to see if you can match your ICP. From there you look at the profiles to see their activity.

Just updated this on the pricing page. It's not a feature in the traditional sense of the SaaS but our customers have been happy with it.
We're in a shipping cycle so expect a number of new features in the next couple of days/weeks.
We ended up going with Close because a number of people we trust recommended them. Still using Apollo for enrichment.

25.03.2025 14:53 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0That's a great question. I don't think so because of the nature of the UX.
Example google queries: "copy wright", "curry griffin draft", "three oaks zillow"
With those my brain is already trained for shorthand. With the chats my brain is trained to write a longer form prompt.
3. Any research involving the traditional search journey goes to ChatGPT. This mostly involves things that I would never click on "I'm feeling lucky" for. Because I'm still trying to zero in exactly what I'm searching for. So again the interactive chat UX is superior here.
25.03.2025 13:26 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 02. Anything that involves reading documentation goes to ChatGPT (Curl, Stripe, Rails, etc). The chat UX just parses out all the noise and gets me exactly what I want faster.
25.03.2025 13:26 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0There's an argument of whether AI search will be the death of Google Search. Looking at my search behavior over the last 24 hours I see a several patterns:
1. Instant searches are still won by Google (images, spelling, who a person is)
