Happy to report somehow tampon tech has advanced enough they do not feel like absolute burning pain hell anymore (mostly)

In positive news I love being a huge fuck off heavy wolf despite the fact my human forms tops out at a massive 125 pounds

;_; Yeah all that!! We are not walking incubators! I was sent to the hospital several times bc the doctor was "very sure" I had an internal cyst or something rupture. I pleaded each time it was just my period but I needed help. Never believed me and always walked out the ER feeling so much shame

Isnt just "weh dysphoria" - it truly is trauma for me, for what menstruation has done to my body over the years, doctor's neglecting my pain, my begging that it is not normal to be unable to walk during your period, or losing so much blood you cant stand up

"But what if you want a baby later?"

I will hush hush after this but I dont find it is talked about often how girlhood/womanhood is marked by so many points of trauma/forces outside our control that it is normalized to the point even other women think periods are dirty

A child still young enough to want to hold its mom's hand as it is walked into the store, others so giddy I am entering womanhood, all while I stare at tampons wondering what this means. The radical shift in being treated differently. No more time to be a little girl - you are a woman now

Being a girl forced to turn into a woman at age 12 because of blood is trauma - girlhood is trauma, a child should never have had to feel shame over a normal body function, or turned into a sexual object as soon as it happens

I Cannot even bring myself to buy pads - I am staring at them at the store basically shaking
