By repurposing a radiation-hard epoxy resin from the nuclear/aerospace industry, we made samples withstand >1.15Γ10ΒΉβ° Gy and reached sub-40 nm resolution, revealing axons, dendrites, mitochondria and synapses without sectioning.

Drying tissue samples (instead of embedding them) brings more signal in #X-ray phase contrast images.

We watched mice follow scent trails drawn on an βendlessβ treadmill. By manipulating trail geometry/statistics, perturbing mouse nose & brain, and modeling behavior with a Bayesian framework, we show that mice use predictive (rather than reactive) strategies.
