I decided to finally do something with this Bitter Creek kit Ive had built for ages. Decals from K4.
If anyone wants to try their hand at wood kits, Bitter Creek's damn near fall together. Highly recommended.

Reefer weathered with powders. The streaking was done by wetting a finger slightly and dragging it down the side.

Another weathered Roundhouse reefer, this time with a few more layers of weathering because the first car came out very clean.

Chicago, Burlington & Quincy Pioneer Zephyr. This is a Challenger Imports Brass model, and it's a beautiful set, plated, runs smooth, everything you could want.

Weathered a Roundhouse reefer along with my usual modifications of scalehead couplers and airhoses.

An 8 car train consisting of an F3 class tenwheeler, two RPO baggages, two baggages, combine, two coaches, and a parlor.

Prototype inspiration is NYC&HR RPO baggage 2350.

Had a bit of inspiration yesterday so decided to start on the next kitbash, a 3 door RPO baggage.
Side was made from two Labelle RPO kits cut and shut together.

The little tuft between them, aaaaahhh I wana lick..

They do need a lot of work, but I do have a spare if youre interested.

Either GEM or Ken Kidder.

A little bit of work on 999 saw the beginnings of a solution to solidly mount the gearbox as well as a place to mount pickups.
