it's refreshing to see the timeline filled with lynch's ideas for a change. seeing someone so dedicated to their art serves as a good reminder to stay attuned, open-hearted, and sharp; to keep challenging the puzzle and not to get lost in the relentless scroll

in case my last post wasn’t in any way clear due to message vs image: the image belongs to part 8 (‘gotta light?’) of twin peaks: the return, which to me is one of the most inspiring, mind-bending, unexpected pieces of art made for tv.

thinking of quentin crisp as I finish tidying up my modulars, and regretting how I just wiped out the unique accumulation of dust, remnants of the different countries i have toured, transforming them into a sterile monument stripped of their chaotic essence that made them so distinctly dalt.

i count myself fortunate to experience this daily. as the year draws to a close, i wish you all a peaceful end to 2024 and look forward to sharing juicy news very soon.

inspiration is like a surge that briefly ignites consciousness; it feels as if the very fabric of thought aligns, creating a rare clarity—a delicious high. such moments ask for dedication, an intense focus, i find them often in the pre-dawn serenity while drinking my first coffee.

on a paul schrader phase; revisiting and watching have I haven’t, what a brilliant director he is, while "light sleeper" has always lingered in my consciousness, it is "the card counter" that now usurps its haunting presence, a testament to the disquieting brilliance of the human psyche.
