Finally got round to watching Super Mario Bros Movie and glad I finally did. Very enjoyable for the most part, only one or two things I wasn't fond of but didn't ruin the movie for me.

So after cutting my teeth on my little platformer, I'm using an idea I originally planned to write a novel with, as the base for an RPG.

My wee game project for the game jam is in a working state and I'm super happy I've managed that from absolute zero in less than two weeks.
This is the creative, passionate and determined side of my brain I absolutely adore but struggle to connect with.
Plenty to clean up but I'm very happy.

I will never fully understand the acclaim Elden Ring gets.
The bosses and locations are awesome, but there's way too much empty space and paths leading to essentially nothing. Exploring is boring.
I'll take the more confined worlds of Yharnam and Lordran any day.
