First horror weekend of the year, we watched Child's Play and The Lost Boys. Both were great, with Lost Boys significantly more silly than I was expecting.
The older horror movies definitely cement my opinion that practical effects > CGI in horror films for sure.

Finally got round to watching Super Mario Bros Movie and glad I finally did. Very enjoyable for the most part, only one or two things I wasn't fond of but didn't ruin the movie for me.

So after cutting my teeth on my little platformer, I'm using an idea I originally planned to write a novel with, as the base for an RPG.
Am I worried that this hyper-fixation is gonna pass rather quickly? Absolutely! But this idea has in my brain for 20 years GET IT OUT GET IT OUT

My wee game project for the game jam is in a working state and I'm super happy I've managed that from absolute zero in less than two weeks.
This is the creative, passionate and determined side of my brain I absolutely adore but struggle to connect with.
Plenty to clean up but I'm very happy.
