bonus points for the box farts.
Playing it now but I might give up soon. Environments are stunningly gorgeous.... voice acting, music, everything is top notch. But I agree with your review. The robots and holograms and hand terminal recordings whatabouting to me is getting tiresome. I just want to activate the laser please.
Truth.
Ugh. I'd like to understand the reasons why.
This looks great! Thank you!
We should probably take that $40B gift earmarked for a bromance between "America First" Trump and Argentina's Milei and redirect to Jamaica for hurricane relief and maybe $10B of that to SNAP to actually help soon-to-be starving people. But what do I know? I'm not a fascist president.
Some of those “kids” are elected officials who represent constituents, and ages range from 18-39. They are not 12-year olds or teenagers being dumb. Their political careers should be over (but it won’t be, of course).
Missed the Portland show, so got in on #NIN in Sac-town next year. It's an ungodly amount of $ to drop, but this is likely my last time seeing these fellas and big arena gigs in general. I'm floored on how much show tix costs these days.
Come work with us!
I encourage publishers/creators to communicate as much as possible to backers, whether good or bad news, as well-informed backers tend to be happier backers. Ultimately, though, it's the publishers' rodeo and not appropriate for manufacturers to directly answer backers' ?s about timelines. 2/2
Crowdfunding backers... Asking a publisher's manufacturer about the status of a late game is not going to get you anywhere. There are confidentiality agreements (both implied and/or written) in place and it would be terrible breach of trust and ethics if not honored. 1/2
A Tale of Blue Cities.
Today is Star Trek Day, so I feel like some (pretty gay) Star Trek art is in order
Kudos to Alien Earth for maintaining the 70s/80s spaceship aesthetics and art direction—complete with old CRT monitors, panels of blinkly lights, monochrome green text, and computers that chirp, buzz, and whirr. It surprisingly didn't feel archaic.
Glad to see the DC crime task force is really locking down on all the sandwich-throwing criminals taking over the town.
I'd be more excited about a SNW season with more than 10 episodes. But that (space)ship has sailed.
I still have to remind myself how lucky I am to work remotely. The traffic in Portland metro (even on weekends) just gets worse every year.
For an account called “vibrant facts”, you sure don’t have any in these posts.
This is great screenwriting advice overall, give your character a bit of a hook. Like that old Telly Savalas show Kojak where he’s always munching on one of those dum-dum lollipops.
Marriott taking the #GenCon theme to the next level.
I think we all could use this.
Yup, Gen Con Travel Tuesday.
That’s a lot of bookmarks.
Top grocery bag of all time.
I don't need work/life balance and inspirational quotes to motivate me, I need the world to stop being insane and for bad things to happen to bad people.
(This post brought to you by making the mistake of logging into LinkedIn 🙃)
Kinda more a leinenkugel’s fan, but this is working.
It's the weekend, baby
