I is for Icebox, one of the many brilliant illustrations by @landisblair.bsky.social for A is for Arsenic: An ABC of Victorian Death, my book on the basics of Victorian mourning practices/traditions. One brand of icebox, designed to temporarily preserve the corpse, was called the "Fresh-ever."
