Number two of my journey to get customized cards for each of my commanders, this time it’s Arcades by @whitecrowarchon.bsky.social !

I loved their sumi-e style and since Arcades doesn’t really have many other alternate art I thought it’d be more fun to do a commission of him.

I never really used him in my playthroughs so I’m not as attached to him as the others.

Alma, Ovelia, and Cid imo. Girl power all the way and Cid because well, Cid.

I wish they would really just look at the game and go “would I pay $70 for this or spend it on something else?”

(I got it for $38 so I feel that was fair)

But people will continue to praise it. They should be held at a higher standard than what they are putting out.

Replace the creatures in the game with any other franchise and it would’ve been ripped apart in reviews. But because it’s Pokemon it gets a special pass.. It’s not fair.

of Shinjuku, or when you get to the digital world the first time.. there are things everywhere! The world feels ALIVE.

Lumiose just.. doesn’t. Maybe it’s the lack of people, of pokemon roaming around, of shops or building variety.

No city is so cookie-cutter.

The battle system is fun, I like they are trying something new with the Legends one. And it runs surprisingly well on switch.

But the city feels like a dead shell. Every alleyway looks the same, every rooftop is so similar. Coming off of 40 hours in Time Stranger, running through the streets -

I got the new pokemon heavily discounted, and after playing a good bit over the weekend I can’t help but be disappointed.

I enjoyed Arceus immensely and put many, many hours into that game. This one feels like one step forward and two back again.

Today’s project - finish putting away the magic cards I’ve had laying around. I’m slightly OCD when it comes to organizing, but we have so many cards it’s hard not to want to keep it all neat and organized.

I’ve been playing Umamusume casually since launch. Casually to me is do my dailies, get my three borrow runs in a day and that’s about it.

I put forth some effort for CMs (pvp) but not much so I don’t burn out.

My pet project of using end closer Maruzensky is actually working in graded league.

Honestly, it's more like an SMT game than 'pokemon', and that's a huge plus, because they acknowledge their audience isn't 12 and can think on their own.

Digimon has been such a breath of fresh air. I've honestly been less and less hyped for the new pokemon game the more information they release about it.

It feels like playing through a new pokemon game where every pokemon hasn't been spoiled, because I don't know the majority of the digimon.
