Like to be more critically articulate, the only way that emotional impact mattered was to make the girls sad and unhappy. Nothing that could have been built from it was; no truths or connections emerged. it was just a Sadness Event for short term buzz, integrated neither forwards nor backwards.

With character design I feel like there’s a range of abstract to narrative character design where the visuals tell you something about the personality and experiential lifestyle thru literal detail as well as vibes, and then there’s abstract-abstract aesthetic design where it’s Shapes on a Person
