Sure, and I would rather give him a bit more time than sack him if I can see he is realising he needs to adapt. But he can’t be saying the things he did after Weds every few weeks/months because he will lose the players, and eventually the hierarchy will tire of it and take him up on his offer
I’ve had managers who said and did things that made me lose respect for them and our relationships never recovered from my perspective. I don’t see why it would be any different in the football industry
I don’t think Amorim’s system will work in the PL without world class players in at least 2/3 of the positions. I mean it didn’t against Grimsby and our team is comparably world class to theirs. It’s adapt or die for Amorim now imo

Yeah I get that and totally agree with regards to the players. On the other hand we have seen managers like Rangnick express their opinions openly before and the performances on the pitch didn’t look great.
