Next Saturday, 21 March at 10:30am, Stephen Kay (BSR Archaeology Manager), Sara Fabbri (BSR Archaeology Survey Technician) and Elena Pomar (BSR Geophysics Researcher) will take part in the annual Furfo Project public conference in Barisciano (L’Aquila).
The volume builds on Davide’s research as a Rome Awardee at the BSR and the round table “Foreigners in Ancient Rome: Epigraphic Perspectives,” co-organised in January 2023.
A new volume co-edited by Davide Massimo is out: "City of Foreigners. Archaeological and Epigraphic Perspectives on Ancient Rome" (Quasar).
The book grew out of a round table at the BSR and explores how archaeological evidence can help us understand the experiences of foreigners in ancient Rome.
The BSR is available to discuss the opportunity with prospective applicants. For any questions or to get in touch, please contact research@bsrome.it
