Spring is early in Finland this year. Today was already +20C!!! Thats almost 30 degree difference compared to some years. Lake is almost melting too. Last year’s lingonberries after the winter frost are sooo sweet

Coming back after a while…

On my way to Zagreb to attend #MCMC2025 and catch up fellow MCers

After a few days of gloomy sky, a few minutes of Sunshine before it sets is most welcome.

For a while now we have been eating vegetarian most days (with meat for 1 or max two days and even then veggies always accompany)… today its brown lentils with broccolli and mushrooms along with air-fried plantain chips. Cooking vegetarian is easy as long as i can make it Ondian style:). #foodie

A little tranquility in the sea of chaos

Lake at the cabin was frozen but last few days it has been unseasonally warm (+2C) and rained a little. Water on top ofnice made the lake really picturesque. #finlandwinter #reflections

Cabt find them easily. Even refried, i started finding them locally very recently

Started to make taco salad (our version of it) with corn chips, freshly made salsa & guacamole, refried beans fried again with onions, tomatoes & pickled jalapenos, chicken with spices, sauteed veggies and sour cream. After taking the picture, realized its missing actual salad leaves😀

Came to cabin just before Sunset… snow everywhere and lake seems to start freezing.. with the snowsttorm, Cabin was out of power for 72hrs so the forced air heater will be helped with blazing fireplace. Candles lit outside for ambience
