Victoria loses MotoGP after almost 30 years at Phillip Island
Victoria loses the rights to host the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, ending a three-decade association with the event.
I haven't watched any traditional motorsports for a while. Every time I saw the Aramco advertising it would turn me off. However, this will be a bitter disappointment for MotoGP followers. Phillip Island always provided close and exciting racing.

It is a good piece, and if one reads the byline one may believe that this person has encountered a few immigration issues...

After the election that nearly wiped them out, they still appear to be running with the same (Dutton) policies.

Trump is definitely working to collapse trust in the voting system in the US. Of course, anyone advocating against preferential voting is doing the same here (Pauline, for example).

You should have seen Sara interview Abbott on 7:30. Abbott reminisced about the '50s, '60, and 70s where migrants were more integrated into Australia. Later on Sara (correctly) assumed he was talking about the White Australia policy.

The awful Labor government that caused such a crisis in the Coalition by winning so many seats in parliament.

Why was the informal vote so high: 10,234 or 9%?

Angus Meatloaf appears to have forgotten he was part of the leadership team that lead to the election defeat. He didn't have much to say except that Liberals were better economic managers. Then you have Liberace the leader of the tail that wags the dog. Sussan has things stacked against her.

I suspect that Angus as leader would see a further slide in the polls. I wonder how Albo's polls are going to go after the visit...

I remember a work colleague from the US had left his "fanny pack" in a restaurant. He said he knew he had said something wrong when he asked if it had been handed in by the way the woman's eyes widened.

"*I will buy a coffee to ANYONE who can tell the class what this βserious, credible, compellingβ agenda is. The party has no policies."
Right on the money. That is why they were crushed at the last election. I cannot understand how Angus could a credible leader when he was a policy free zone then.

From what I understand "fanny" doesn't have the same meaning with English speakers outside of (north?) America.
