My fave was Moniprix would let you have half a loaf of their multigrain batard for $.35 and then get a pack of goat cheese or a ball of mozzarella from Italy for $.70 and then swing by the bulk bar for $.30 of mixed olives and eat it on a step somewhere.

I have my reading glasses on and perimenopausal brain fog BAD today so I can't remember WTF I was doing 10 seconds beforehand. "Did I order a historical fiction novel for the book report due at the end of March? WTF was the extension for my HR person, I just had it."

Simultaneously *doing* mom stuff, mentally managing mom logistics (ordering meds, noting school assignments and the corresponding necessary supplies, groceries, meal plans), doing actual work, and managing adult shit like tax withholdings and bills all in 4 hour span is making my brain melt.

To be fair, Panda is Thee Worst Corgi™️ and there are lots of really sweet ones (esp. boys), but they’re a lot. I have had 2 corgi mixes and Panda and she is like insane and the other 2 were so sweet.

Granted, Panda is an 11 on the corg scale, but like even 12 of the most well-trained corgis with help is be CRAZYYY.

Kobe isn’t even really a corgi (he’s half Jindo so his shedding, barking, and temperament leans more that way). So basically it’s ONE Panda that has been like “okay I’m good after her.”

She had like multiples of these dogs, all the time, her whole life. She was a corgi LOVERRRR.

Like I love Panda and Kobe, but the shedding and barking is maddening sometimes and I will probably never own a corgi again (which is why I got her in my late 30s). I’m getting a cat or a smol purse dog next.

She really loved those dogs and perhaps it was a small rebellion of sorts.

So the fact that someone as prim and proper and glued to protocol as her had like 10 of these things meandering the palace and coming into meetings and planes and doing whatever they want is hilarious.

The thing about Queen Elizabeth and corgis that people don’t understand is that they shed CONSTANTLY, no matter how much you groom them, and they bark LOUDLY and incessantly. They’re also extremely stubborn and DGAF.

Giving boomers technology was a mistake.

Older boys agreed that trying stuff before going to Korea to know what they liked and what to avoid was a good idea and that they didn’t want to offend anyone once in country. They even started chiding “no yuck face, Tiny!” when he didn’t like something. 😂

I got enough random stuff to do convenience store taste test nights two more times and I think we will try a restaurant setting two other weeks. It was neat sharing about the culture and history of certain foods and it made them more willing to try things like red bean buns or roasted sweet potato

We finished it off with macarons (which aren’t Korean), but were made by a Korean bakery and Tiny had wanted to try them. 👍👍👍
