Research from Scott Griffiths at #EDRS showing that more toxic ED content is delivered to people with #eatingdisorders. TikTok prioritizes time spent watching videos over actions like liking videos - so folks w/ EDs get more toxic content even if they aren’t interacting directly

Day one of #EDRS2025 in sunny/rainy Orange County ☀️🌧️ and my first as an EDRS member!! Becoming a member this year was definitely one of my #imadeit moments as an eating disorder researcher and I can’t wait to learn with and from so many amazing researchers!

You can tell I am in grant writing mode because tell me why I used the term "procedural exactness" in a casual text with a friend (in my defense she is a ceramics artist and I will argue it is an important skill in her field!!)

After 6 long years, 30+ scientific publications, 2000+ clinical hours, 40+ presentations, countless cups of coffee, and a wealth of love and support, I received my PhD in Clinical Psychology! So proud to be the first doctor in my family and excited for what the future brings 🌟 #PhDone

Bsky research friends! Does anyone have resources or examples of an F32 or K08 project that has proposed using existing data in addition to proposing a novel study? Any help is appreciated!

This week I started my new position as a T32 NHLBI Postdoctoral Research Scholar through University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine's Cardiovascular Behavioral Medicine Training Program! So excited to receive this specialized training on cardiometabolic research and eating behaviors!

Also in the spirit of normalizing rejection - I also had several symposia rejected, including other research studies on weight stigma and suicide research among trans and gender diverse youth. I still think that research is so important and worth doing, but rejection is a ubiquitous part of academia
