Some of our best new Canadians started as TFWs. Wonderful friends and neighbors.
I know many great employers who treat all their workers as family.
Now Canadians don’t have as many children as their parents and grandparents did.
We need foreign workers in Canada. 🇨🇦
Hooray you’re on tonight!! The world needs more Newfoundland.

I enjoyed the show the last time you collaborated with a journalist from the USA. I’m sure the upcoming Checkup will be just as informative and collegial.
There have been a few times when Checkup has been hammered on social media for a program we haven't done yet. I'm in a show meeting right now. The gap between what's being posted and what we're actually planning is enormous. Our regular listeners should expect the same care we use for every show.

Fridays on PNP are the best!
Superb coverage tonight, Mr. Cochrane. Many thanks to you and your colleagues, and to the CBC; our national public broadcaster. 🇨🇦
This grumpy Liberal believes Canadians appreciate facts, not rhetoric. Politicians should do and say real things, not pretend things. Clear and honest communication defines a true leader.
“So it was baffling to see Chrystia Freeland, the former finance minister vying for the Liberal leader’s and prime minister's job, write in the Star that "Americans will pay" the tough Canadian counter-tariffs she called for against U.S. imports.”
“OTTAWA—It is a basic tenet of Tariffs 101, and an essential argument in Canada's fight against Donald Trump's 25-per-cent tariff threat: that consumers and businesses on your home turf are the ones who pay the cost of tariffs, or counter-tariffs, not the other country's government or people.”
He nailed it.
