Hello? ICE is so out of control that its agents think they can break international law.

I didn't go for too much detail in this painting and that's a good thing. I exhibited and sold paintings at a few galleries for 3 decades or more (this was sold from one of several mixed shows at the Linda Blackstone Gallery which was at that time in Pinner. I don't seek out galleries now because the framing, travel, commission etc does make it unviable - also too much work for someone my age!

One more Cambridge May Week scene, quite a large painting combining materials. Quite an evocative hazy image like butterflies in the mist. This is one of the paintings sold at exhibitions at the Linda Blackstone Gallery a few years ago.

What we are seeing in Minnesota is what authoritarianism looks like in real time. Racism, dehumanization, and state-sanctioned violence are tearing at the foundation of this country.

The ICE agents literally are accessories to murder.

ICE agents eat at small-town Mexican restaurant — then detain workers “Would your mama be proud of you right now?” a bystander said as agents returned at closing time to nab the workers.

ICE agents ate at El Tapatio in Willmar, MN, then came back hours later and detained the workers who served them. Turning a meal into surveillance isn’t public safety it’s intimidation. Remember private businesses can refuse service to ICE agents!
