I think I may have tried it to generate a "photo" once. I have also dealt with it via my hobby of collecting pottery, when I've tried to ID things w/Google Lens. VERY obvious that they're glomming their info from humans who do not necessarily know what they're talking about. Was not impressed.

... and what I mean by that is that I don't use it, I don't even know what ChatGPT and like apps do. I am slowly becoming aware that AI is insidious and likely an influence in my daily life in ways I don't even suspect... ::sigh::

So actually, while 4M sounds like a good number, it really is only a small dent. And half that? Well. Not making light of anyone's efforts, but all facts should be presented so we can do better!

I get wanting to keep people optimistic, but I would rather have truth. High numbers look good, but they can create complacency and we can't afford to do that.
