I'm so glad to see both David and Jennifer there. I've long admired both of their work. I used to be an epistemologist in a past life, and spent a lot of time with Jennifer's writing. I'm glad that we got to interact a few times too. Sadly, I've never met David.

Seriously. Our son cried through bath time his first year of life until we started singing Rubber Ducky to him during it. I think that it confused him into silence more than anything else.

Around that age my guy once kicked his poop diaper as I changed it, sending the content into the air and landing on his face. He was surprisingly unperturbed by it all. I was freaked out way more than him.

She also said that he was once so sick that he couldn't get out of bed. Instead of cancelling his grad seminar, he had all of his students come to his house and he gave his lecture lying in bed. Amazing.

I took a mind seminar with Jennifer Lackey a few years removed from her time as Kim's student (2004, I think). She told us that he took an odd route to the analytic side. Apparently he initially got into philosophy because he was interested in existential poetry.
