Obviously this is a case very close to my heart and I agree with your points but im not gonna be able to solve this very complex issue that has so much nuance and underlying causes. I just think if a terminally ill adult can choose to die, so should a terminally ill child

"Children cant consent" while I agree generally speaking, I think its close minded and evil in the case of terminal stage diseases to deny children humane and painless relief based on this. Children can suffer. Children feel pain.

And said "im so tired of feeling pain in my body" why are we making children suffer until the very end? Why are we leaving it up to the cancer which it will shut down first? Heart or lungs. This is inhumane.

As you know, a close friend of mine has a daughter dying of brain cancer with weeks left to live. Simply put, we are hoping her heart goes before her lungs. Her daughter is in horrible pain day in day out

Thank you. Im just the couple's close friend but I can tell you that the parents are in agony I wouldnt wish on my worst enemy and thats nothing to how their daughter feels

Thats very true and im glad you strongly advocate for patients comfort. Terminally ill children deserve comfort and dignity

I have no idea if also know that they have her on a steroid packed anti inflammatory and while it does keep her alive and in less pain, the side effects are brutal. Its just that regardless of pain management, if her lungs go first, she will choke to death in agony. She should have a choice
