Especially if Arenado is reportedly willing to move to 1B. Don't see a reason a team would acquire him to not play him at 3B so to me it suggests he knows he physically can't handle that position much longer.

Which is scary considering he already has massively regressed at the plate.

Also have to think Teel and/or Campbell factor in at some point. Even Roman. Becomes lefty-heavy again but by July your lineup could be:

1. Yeah I had Ceddanne on the bench because this roster initially was my A+++ offseason (Soto lol). Forgot to add Romy/Eaton to UTIL bench when I moved Rafaela to RF.

2. I think they're six-deep, with upside at Grissom. Just need to be definitively a playoff team by July. Can always upgrade.

Except there was logic to adding Story because Bogaerts was expiring and their 2B at the time was Christian Arroyo.

Arenado to me would ironically be like signing Story in 2022. You're throwing the fans a bone because you had a letdown winter and got a good bargain on the trade.

That bench UTIL should be Nate Eaton/Romy Gonzalez btw. Forgot to change it when I moved Ceddy to the lineup.

Arenado would make me question a lot about Breslow's roster construction moving forward. That feels like a lazy way to stop having to worry about Devers' defense, which I have never viewed as a true detriment to winning.

I’m with Stats here. I think the realistic offseason is O’Neill, Snell/Fried, Crochet and Holmes/Scott.

I also floated the idea of bringing back CV. Not sure it’s possible but have him as the placeholder here.

Would maybe float HSK a one-year deal but fine w Vaughn as the Campbell bridge.
