On some level it’s good the Celtics didn’t advance in the NBA Cup and have to play more super intense games - they get enough of those already and don’t need to prove anything. Trade that for some chill low-stakes matchups.

All season the Patriots come to the line and fake like they are going to run a play, trying to draw the defense offsides, and they either call time out or let the quarter end etc. Doing this 50 times in a row is just setting up a future trick play when actually snap the ball.

I know that’s why it’s really just fantasyland

I know right? But they were only a year removed from winning the Super Bowl and the team hadn’t had a losing season since 2000.

If Bill Belichick wanted to go full tank mode in 2020 to rebuild after Brady left I wonder if the Krafts would’ve allowed / had the patience for it.

Having the Patriots and Bills play twice in the final 3 weeks is just a poor job by the NFL schedule makers. Division rival games need to be spread out.

I did not think the Patriots would struggle so much this season. Last year they lost so many games they could’ve won if they just had competent quarterback play and the QB position would be better this year.

WHAT IF Carson Wentz pulls a Nick Foles?

Every Patriots game:

- Offense starts good then derailed by penalty
- Drake Maye impresses
- Defense comes up short
- Upset about some penalty

And what’s the deal with mistletoe? No missles, no toes?

Some streaming services put out a whole season of a show at once = have to binge, too much. Some do one show a week = have to wait, hate it. I propose releasing a new episode every night until they run out.
