This program was pivotal to large scale changes in our math and science classrooms. Sad to see it just vanish. Heartbreaking for those with funding who no longer have it now.

which serves as the nexus for sustainable energy-related
research and educational programs at Johns Hopkins
University.
Accepted students will be awarded a $7,000 stipend and
given housing on campus for the summer. Candidates
must be U.S. Citizens or U.S. Permanent Residents, have
completed at least one year of undergraduate studies,
and not yet have a bachelor’s degree. Trainees will
participate in a professional development program and in
research projects in one of five areas that address
society’s vast energy needs:
Carbon capture and transformation
Energy storage technology
Solar energy technology
Wind energy technology
Electricity grid management
Program Dates: May 27, 2025 –
August 1, 2025
Application Deadline: February 3,
2025. Notice of acceptance will be
sent by March.
