Now that's a surprise. The new Disney CCO, Dana Walden, had killed the live-action remakes that were in the pipeline. It was done to shift the focus on original works and "quality over quantity".
Working on this Jeholornis, an avian dinosaur from the early Cretaceous in China. It´s enjoying some late season Ginkgo fruit. I added some insects from the Jehol formation as well, but am thinking of adding some more. Any suggestions anyone?

Disappointing as this movie was, Goro did make beautiful concepts for the world.
I recall LeGuin said much the same: the movie’s story shared little with the world she made, but her Earthsea lived in the art.

Came across this little gem, "What's your name, prehistoric creature" book series by Cai Qin (蔡沁著), this one focusing on fishes, crocs and pterosaurs. And it's actually quite good. 🧵
In preparation for the upcoming conventions (looking at you, Wels Comic Con), I have begun the process of creating small illustrations for stickers and acrylic keychains (a process I am as of yet unfamiliar with and want to get proficient at handling). Dangling Spinosaurus, anyone?

Being a film lover has taught me that life is too short to get mad over what wins the Academy Award. What matters is appreciating the art of good films and celebrating the beauty in the art form. Some films won't win awards, but they'll win people's hearts. That's what matters.

Great crested grebes ‘weed dancing’ is a sure sign Spring is in the air. Their courtship starts face to face, imitating each other’s movements. They then swim in opposite directions, dive and re-emerge with weed. Finally, they swim towards each other, rise up and dance. #Birds #WildlifePhotography

Here is the gastropod Worthenia koninck from the Upper Carboniferous (Pennsylvanian) Graford Formation in Lake Bridgeport, Texas. Worthenia is probably one of my favorite gastropods due to the fact that it has knobs around the shell which makes it quite ornamental.
This beautiful penguin is a leucistic gentoo penguin, a condition that reduces pigment, giving it a white appearance while keeping its normal eye color, unlike albinism 💜
