i finished writing the first draft of my novel today & it’s messy & in desperate need of huge, shifting developmental edits but it’s all on paper now !!! it exists!! the first novel i’ve actually completed in a little over 10 years !! 233 pages & 60.7k words later 💌📫⚽️🖋️🫀⭐️

this morning i finally reached 100 pages of my novel!!! i’ve never been so excited about any project, i’m so so happy

so delighted to share that i'm a 2025 Poetry Fellow in @abodepress's second virtual writing retreat starting this month! ✍️ with my instructor mónica teresa ortiz, i'll be workshopping a poetry chapbook i drafted last year, and i couldn't be more excited. congrats to all my fellow fellows!! xx

plus i'm about to work on feedback on poem packets from writers in my writing retreat cohort and have a submission & layout meeting with one of my fellow writer friends tonight for our upcoming zine. OH and i finished the eighth chapter of my ya novel this morning 🙏 i'm literally unstoppable today!

i have my master’s in library and information science from syracuse university!! 🍊 it’s been a hard but amazing road to come to this moment and i’m proud to say that i’m now the second person in my family to attain a master’s degree?! i’m excited to continue my career in librarianship. go orange!!
