Oh my gosh I wasn't sure if it was just me. Hyper empathy is a good way to describe what I experience. It's not that I can't sense emotions, they're actually overwhelming to me.
I'm so hyper aware of how people are feeling that I have difficulty when people are trying to hide emotions, because they're so clear to me. I think it's from a lifetime of needing to be super observant of body language and tone and needing to decipher what people "really mean"
