I see artists trade their patreon and ko-fi links all the time and it seems sometimes like it's only other artists and a handful of regular followers that pass those round.

It really does help. Previous clients saying on comm ads they had a good experience also helps a lot too.

LRT: Y'all have no idea how much this means to artists - it's ok if you can't afford to support me or other artists, but boosting our work, leaving nice comments, etc goes such a long way

One of the biggest tips I've seen floating around recently, is just to turn up and try. Making it a habit again is just as important as the motivation side of it. I really hope you find that spark again, your work is wonderful and I see so much creativity in you waiting to be unleashed again 💞

Anyone without a passport or driving license will likely find this more difficult and risk exclusion. Scanning and content takedowns There are also proposals for mandatory scanning of people's posts and public communications. Ofcom are going to require use of 'pro active' scanning technology to remove content before it's even seen. This could results in content being wrongly censored, and has a high risk of impacting speech of democratic importance. For example reporting on a protest about the proscription of Palestine Action could be censored as 'terrorist' content. This censorship could be made worse by suggested powers for law enforcement to make requests for platforms to rapidly content in times of crisis.
