Fell down a DEEP Ace Attorney hole last year and played through most of the games, which led to drawing a bunch of the AA characters as if they were practicing law in the year 1990:

I was originally posting on The Restricted Section and LiveJournal. I remember when A03 came into being, lol. Most of my stuff was on the anonymous Phoenix Wright Kink Meme and then I just moved it over to AO3 as the meme started winding down.

I have no idea what has happened because I refuse to go near Twitter. Twitter sucks, Muskrat sucks, and the "community" there leaves a lot to desire.

And laughing at you for deactivating? Dude, EVERYONE is deactivating their Twitter because it sucks over there.

kinda feel like there's this entitlement to all spaces, no consequences for behaving badly, and that stupid clique mentality that is popular with a lot of insecure people.

I feel like Tumblr started it, and then when they banned porny fanart, it moved over to Twitter fandom spaces. 😥

I have no idea what happened but I am sorry. I was hugely into the AA fandom back on the days of the Kink Meme on LJ. It got pretty nasty over there with tall poppy syndrome and random meanness, but ...wow.

I am really disgusted at the way a lot of fans carry on nowadays. 😥

While most "you couldn't make that today" complaints are just whining about natural & inexorable shifts in cultural mores over time, one show that I genuinely think you would not be allowed to produce or market today is Captain Planet and I think it's interesting that nobody ever says so.

I'm not bothered by it since it's fiction. I know it's something a lot of people can't do or that puts them off... no judgement from me though. Most of the characters I write are not exactly healthy and wholesome people.
