I actually do this quite often. Supporting a podcast on Patreon, or buying a self-published mag, or just sending a few € for a free plugin. It’s usually not a large amount. But I often feel that the gesture itself – the appreciation it expresses – is even more important for the recipients.

I once made this #codepen called “Super Simple Parallax Fullscreen Hero Header with Object-Fit.” Just saw it has 2,000+ views. Is that a lot? No clue—probably not. But it might’ve helped some people.
