Russian oil storage tanks are full, no free tankers to offload oil there. So of course they push to Slovakia/Hungary to push to resume oil flow to Europe.

It seems to me that the war will be decided on the battlefield not in economy.
But non-Russian gas does not provide undisclosed discounts and other 'benefits'

Cina needs pro-China government in Moscow. Or at least not anti-China one.
However we should talk about Belarus. China does not need it. And it would shorten future iron curtain between EU and Russia
