My attention is on preparing some great conference championship game and NCAA Tournament content for you all right now, and I'd like to take the full 3 weeks leading up to it to make it special.

I’m personally more disappointed in Matthew Tkachuk saying he was healthy when he clearly wasn’t, or Jack Hughes getting knocked off the puck over and over.

That was the best hockey game I’ve ever been to. Amazing night.

While I can’t speak for the whole stadium and suspect things were different in the balcony… it was very cool in our section when most of the people sang both anthems.

I muted all of the… buzzwords… related to tonight’s game and it’s made it a lot easier to be excited.

Game 5 in Vancouver is to me, one of the best hockey games ever played. So maybe I’m just giving the rest of the series too much of a halo for that + the general vibes around each city in the others.

Raising the stakes a little bit… is this maybe the best final of the Bettman-era?

If I was supreme overlord of hockey… I’m rolling with the NHL’s existing WCOH/Olympic plan, but maybe doing men’s rivalry series Bo3s every year?

People want USA-CAN, SWE-FIN, CZE-SVK. Could also create a setting like rivalry series where teams can try things without trophies/medals on the line.

Things may have been different if this game was somewhere else — but generally Trump is not well liked in Boston.

Our section had lots of friendly conversation between Finns/Canadians/Americans, it was nice.

Thursday like you said… might be different though. Boston gets VERY rowdy for big games.

It was maybe 2% of the arena, so thankfully not a lot. Mostly stopped about a quarter through the song when they realized people weren’t going to join them.

Yeah, it was a few idiots who stopped as soon as they realized:

- no one was joining them
- the singing Canadians overpowered them

Curious if it’s the same on Thursday.
