New profile piece is up at the Napa Valley Register today! It'll hit print this Thursday! Read about the band eggcorn, a band featuring Napa Valley music therapists who create symphonic indie/Alternative rock. But at the heart of eggcorn is a Napa Valley Love story. Read it at archive.ph/HLQEZ

Dear @ryannorth.ca, I just picked up your FF vol 4 trade and had to put it down to write this message. I love The King and I love Byrne, but there's something you do with the characters, the way you built on what they brought. I'll be damned. These are my favorite FANTASTIC FOUR books of all time.

"Place a supply order."
"what supplies do we need?"
"The box is over there go through it and order what we need."
"But I don't know what we fucking need!!!!!!! Tell me what we fucking need and I'll order it!"

I've got a learning disability. I need clear directio. I like to be walked through what I need to do for a job.

I'm currently working a gig where my boss is like, "Go do this!"
"Okay, how?"
"Go look at last year's stuff & figure it out."

I'm not learning anything & I'm completely lost. Stressed

I rented it the day it came out in DVD. As soon as it was over I watched it again with the commentary. I was a gigantic fan!

But as I started studying film and storytelling more... The more and more I grew to see more of the flaws & my it lost most of its shine to me. 🀷

Comic book cover, Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees

I read the entirety of Beneath The Trees Where Nobody Sees from @patrickhorvath.bsky.social last night. 10/10, tried to spread it out but I had to read it all at once 🐻 Cutest comic I’ve ever read about a serial killer

We don't have an LCS, and I'm poor so I use Hoopla mostly. I buy the stuff I love when I can. But our local library has a fantastic graphic novel collection as well and I love supporting them. ❀️

I'm working Front of House for a the Berkeley Rep Theatre and we've got a play right now with Hugh Bonneville from Downton Abbey/Paddington. In the FOH we see Hugh every single day, and he always says hi. Easily it's the best part of my shifts here. It's pretty rad. πŸ₯°πŸ₯°πŸ₯°

I want a movie about a Ring-like ghost that sends an email to billionaires giving them 72 hours to write 5 true bullet points of good they have done in the world or they will be dragged to hell.

It doesn't matter how many times I unsubscribe... Chris from @stubhub.bsky.social starts emailing me every few months about concerts I'd never go to....

How the hell do you miss your exact audience? I'm on the Peacock plan with ads! I should have seen an ad there at the very least. How are people so so so bad at promoting things nowadays?!? It wasn't this hard or bad 10 years ago.

You guys, we've watched every single episode of the SNL documentary series. We're all caught up on new SNL episodes. We're big fans. We had no clue there was going to be an SNL 50 concert streamed on Peacock. We didn't even know the concept.

But you know what? It fucking rules! It's so good!!

My coffee grinder broke. I don't shop at Amazon. I try not to shop at Walmart and with Target turning more and more into Walmart, rolling back more than prices... Where the fuck can i buy a new coffee grinder today, and not support the awful corporations. HomeGoods?

a lot of other ppl don't know that when Malcolm X was assassinated, King gave an interview afterwards where he said,

β€œWe have fought hard and long for integration, as I believe we should have, and I know that we will win. But I've come to believe we're integrating into a burning house."
