💯 but, maybe take a broader picture as well. HECS is too large across the board. Shouldn’t be indexed. It’s an investment in our economy. And throw in that the leaching bureaucracy running universities needs to be reined in so that the overblown costs are a thing of the past.

If they win government, they promise they will begin research in magic wands to wave. All research funds going to a newly created company with 2 employees and an address listed as a beachside shack, while the company is incorporated in a tax haven.

Might as well register their party as a lobby group.

I think it means: claim you were part of it despite doing nothing or actively working against it.

And buy from more places than scholastic to support an Aussie industry. Indie authors for example…
