Cheers!
Preparing bags for Clunes Booktown Festival this weekend using a stamp I made. If you’re going, drop by tent T on Fraser Street and say hi.

Exactly. Long range missiles. A way to sneak drones to the Eastern coast of Russia. Whatever degrades Russia s ability to attack at scale.
That leopard wouldn’t eat my face…
Just saw this, and I knew you would have posted about it. It’s very cool!
The combination of intelligence, caring and public awareness is very hard to replicate.
Are the #Hartley candidates going to be mere cogs of their party machinery? When have they put the greater wellbeing above their own ambitions? Is there a willingness to dig into detail? Will they share it rather than treating us like muppets? Will they push back on authoritarianism?

I believe the candidate for a party matters, not just the policies. But damn it’s hard to find real detail.
I’ll be filling out my ballot today as I’ll be interstate next weekend.
So are neither the Greens or Labor South Australian parties on Bluesky?

So slightly faster than a casual walk.
This is literally one of the most profoundly stupid and ignorant things I've ever seen written about executive level public sector behavioural incentives that I've ever read - from X The Everything App at 1:00am on a Saturday morning, right through to <checks notes> the fucking NACC.
If only there was a mechanism to limit racial hatred or endless donations from billionaires. Who could make such a thing happen?
The NACC needs an overhaul.
This is reminding me that I’ll have to work out my upper house preferences soon.
The conservative parties are dead. Long live the conservative parties…
Nine years ago, I finished my first draft of my first novel manuscript. I chose not to publish it, but I'm still really proud of this achievement. Since then, I've written and published 10 books.

Doubt = do
Yeah, it won’t be so immediate. But I doubt remember my eldest getting annoyed.
Even private school kids interact with opposite genders from time to time.
And will no doubt get very annoyed later when the boys get their growth spurts.
Very true. A lot of my fellow left/progressives talk as if we shouldn’t have a military as if unilateral disarmament would be viable. Europe is dealing with a version of that mistake. Which isn’t to say that all defence spending is good spending. As always, both the world and good policy is messy.
I think the problem is one of mistrust. What would otherwise seem reasonable is viewed with skepticism because the govt’s approach to the US and the Middle East in general. It’s hard to discount that it’s a prelude to something more, though I doubt Albanese wants it to be.
Drained by the internal polling he’s been reading. Wants to get settled into his lobbying job before the next election.
Yeah, very much so. Plus the classic mistake: not understanding that bullies like Russia see any holding back as weakness. They only respect strength.
Strange. Plenty of it happening here in Australia.
If we’d all supported Ukraine properly at the start, a lot of things would be different.
One is passive acceptance, the other is a direction to travel.
I thought it was a corporation. No internal democracy. I’m assuming I’m wrong?
