Got to watch @hectorisfunny.bsky.social on Smarty Pants Society on @dropout.tv last night and it was very funny. As a guy who doesn't really care about food, it was relatable. I know he was saying it for the bit but, FOOD SHOULD BE FREE. But how would that work? Let me make some suggestions...
I do too! Thanks for sharing these cool resources, and thanks for watching!!
HAHAHA very good

I almost can't believe that Elon Musk's AI called for the extermination of the Jewish people yesterday, and today not a single Congressional Democrat announced they were leaving his media network.
A party that often claims to act against antisemitism didn't do jack shit about straight up Nazism.
At this point anyone still using X as a primary social network should just be shunned. You either a Nazi or not a serious person.
This bill is another giant leap into fascism. I feel the cold, analytical horror of all the people who will suffer. But I also feel hope that so many of us are paying attention. Hope is not a solution, but it's hard to get to the solution without it. So I'll be keeping mine for the battles ahead
I am grieving the barbarism that is going to unfurl from all this. People are going to die. Livelihoods gone. All to feed a corrupt kleptocracy.
I see every day up close how different it is from the first time around. There are no guardrails. A disaster. I’m sorry we have to live through this.
We're going to need Nuremberg trials when this is over, yes, and to send a significant number of people currently in the federal government to prison. But we're going to need an unwavering commitment to ostracizing the supporters of it, as well. Never accept them again in polite society.
The cast of Superman is here to talk about the endless possibilities ahead for this epic new universe-- along with everyone's secret nerdy obsessions youtu.be/e4fL9SxFwKg
Christ, I just went down this rabbit hole and there is a LOT
Important to note; Japan has way stricter laws around laying people off. Actual protections from its government that force companies to do things like have execs take pay cuts before doing a mass layoff. The solution to this problem is not a “good” CEO. It’s systemic and complete reform.
every institution in american life has utterly failed us
the courts
the congress
the universities
law enforcement
the military
the free press
every single one
My relatives in East L.A. — born in the U.S.A. — are afraid to go outside because masked men with guns are randomly snatching people off the street.
This is a government terrorism campaign against its own people.
We’ve bombed Iran. And dismantled our joint terrorism task force. And sent a third of the FBI to help ICE. And gutted the National Security Council. And a drunk guy is in charge at the pentagon. And our intelligence allies probably won’t share intel with us. Because people couldn’t vote for a woman.
The anti-abortion movement and what it has wrought is more horrifying than any horror movie. It is a rejection of the dignity of life and a mockery of human wellbeing
political press is doing a real disservice by basically not reporting the nuances of public opinion on deportations, and creating the appearance that most americans support the stephen miller-style gestapo tactics
Quote this with a great TV father.
It’s such a fantastic list because you scroll through and it’s constantly being surprised that *THAT* was only their second film.
