Along with mysterious acronyms, another pet peeve of mine are news stories that don’t identify the state. “Largest in the tri-county area…” Which three counties? In what state? “In Centerville…” Which Centerville? This is the Internet. I could be anywhere.

"The pandemic of Covid-19 is over" is a lie.

"Covid-19 is no worse than a cold" is a lie.

"Repeated infections of Covid-19 build immunity" is a lie.

"Covid-19 is not harmful to children" is a lie.

"Because of Covid vaccines, we no longer have to worry about Covid-19" is a lie.

The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice. Except it doesn’t bend on its own—it bends because we pull it in the direction of justice. What keeps me hopeful during times like these is being surrounded by people who are doing just that.
