My extremely niche #NBAsky complaint for tonight is that League Pass seems to be trying to make it harder to flip between games — the *point* of League Pass— by not making it default to just jump to the live game (like if it were cable). I guess to make you see more ads? Anyway, the future sucks.

Mine also include The Matrix, Blair Witch, and being way too stoned in Belgium when Fellowship of the Ring was sold out so we sat in the back row for Mulholland Drive instead.

It was hands-down one of the most memorable theater-going experiences I can remember, a collective 30-minute butt-clench/armrest-grab for the final climb. And we knew he lived! Wild.

This is apropos of absolutely nothing but I have been thinking about best-of-quarter-century stuff and I still say that Free Solo, a documentary about climbing, is one of the five or at worst ten best horror movies of these 25 years.

What I love about the NBA is a two-point game with a few seconds left featuring a flagrant foul review followed immediately by a coach’s challenge review followed by three seconds of gameplay followed by another coach’s challenge review. This took ~40 minutes. This is good to me.
