Why was old television BT.470 the default in my case? No idea. What are color spaces as opposed to color profiles and color ranges? Not sure either.
The fact I was feeding ffmpeg a JPEG sequence might have something to do with the former, who knows. The documentation says the defaults are unknown.

Looks like it's fixed. For future use, recommended extra arguments for ffmpeg are these:
-pix_fmt yuv420p -colorspace 1 -color_primaries 1 -color_trc 1
The args with 1s ensure proper use of BT.709 instead of the ancient BT.470. If you're producing HDR content, you might want to look into BT.2020.

The E621 upload of the last animation currently has bonkers colors, hopefully will be fixed soon. Apparently ffmpeg by default uses some ancient color space for VP9 that most of the time isn't a problem, but some people's browsers can't view it, so mods tried to fix it. Color catastrophe ensued.

Got a second-hand Quest 2 last week, quickly put it to good use. Tested it out on an older animation that's fully POV. Featuring the newer Hell Knight dick model with fat foreskin. Last 4 seconds cut off here, Bluesky only allows 1 minute max.
3840x1920@60FPS at E621 (in WebM) and Mega (in H.265).

Won't be posting here any more often than on Twitter, also I'm not deleting that profile.
The only online rant I'll give is Bluesky telling you your handle is too long only after you do the CAPTCHA. Why not tell me on the screen that tells you whether or not you passed the requirements?
