My nine y.o. #QC35 has a new lease on life! I definitely use them more than my QC Ultras as they are more comfortable for long stretches of meetings throughout the day. Not sure what Bose tweaked in the newer designs, like sure the sound + ANC are better but why mess with the almost perfect comfort?

We changed time the previous weekend and I'm still feeling it 😅

7 years ago while in #Edinburgh for #OSSEU I walked past this building after dinner thinking it looks cool and reminds me of #Gringotts.

This year while checking out hotels for our August trip there I'm like hey this looks familiar! And booked it. And got upgraded to the suite right under the dome.

The concert season is upon us! First up is #MOZART #REQUIEM at the #Tampere Cathedral this Saturday (Nov 1), with choirs #Pirkanpojat and #Sympaatti, accompanied by #orkesteriTASO.

#AgathaChristie: #TheMousetrap is the longest running play in the world, with a good story but unsatisfying reveal. OTOH #WitnessfortheProsecution is staged in #LondonCountyHall where you're part of the action. Actors for both were brilliant, but plot twists + comfy seats made Witness more enjoyable

Turning 50 is a big milestone (though one that I wasn't too thrilled to commemorate). My partner planned a surprise trip to #Hanko for us "just for lunch", with me taking the wheel for a major part of it! Enjoying views of #Finland from above was icing on the cake. Status update: we've restored the 55TB snapshot and subsequent incremental backups, and are about to replay the remaining traffic since the backup. There are still several unknowns, but if things go well the matrix.org instance should be back in 3-4 hours.

I am addicted to StreetComplete, and I admit it 😎 So when you see me wondering around streets in Brno with my phone, no, I am not stalking people. I just try to find out if the opening hours are correct on #OpenStreetMaps or if the cycling lane is not missing! 😅
