The nib on the Schon DSGN is a multicolor Monoc nib. A nib they produce in house. Amazing to write with. This one is a Fine, with a large, wet expressive grind on the reverse!

The one I use is from J. Herbin. It is beginner friendly for sure, as it is the first one I regularly use for testing inks. Puts down a nice fine line, but not too fine I’d say. Definitely fun to use. 😊

The only Wearingeul ink I have and used is Siddartha, which is a beautiful rich yellow-orange with a hint of red.
But,..if you really want a vampire vibe blood red, Diamine Red Dragon is the one.

If you want some tooth to your journal Midori MD is the choice. Exquisite paper with just the right feedback. 👌

I have a M. Cursive Italic of his on a Franklin-Christoph. It’s such a joy to use. I have never used a Kodachi though….

I was so pleasantly surprised with this Medium nib on the Kaweco Skyline Sport Sea Spray. It is so smooth with just a tiny hint of feedback. Went with Teranishi Guitar Smoky Navy for the ink. 👌🖊️

What is the color like in person? On the website and videos they have the colors always differ to me. Seems like it’s a darker teal green color?

Robert Oster Blue Water Ice!

Such a pretty turquoise color. (Just added to my wishlist)

I currently use a Hobonichi Cousin, A5, which has areas for habit tracking, or any type of tracking, monthly, weekly, and daily pages. Very thin 47gsm paper fantastic for fountain pens.
I also recommend looking at Stalogy, Midori 1 Day, and Take A Note, which is a Taiwan brand.
