Kyllä sekin ketju oli asiallinen ja rakentava. Tarkoitin kommentillani nimenomaan niitä vastauksiasi Jaakkolan ketjuun, en alkuperäistä kirjoitustasi. Mielestäni ne eivät enää olleet samalla tavalla rakentavia.
Allaoleva on saanut huomiota & koettu valaisevaksi; siispä muutama kriittinen kommentti. TL;DR: kyseessä on mielestäni harhaanjohtava ja/tai olkiukkoargumentti. "Rahoituskestävyys" ei ole välttämätön eikä riittävä ehto talouden kriisinkestokyvylle & sen linkki valtionvelan kestävyyteen on ohut. 1/n

Sävy tuntui melko tylyltä, kun Jaakkolan ketju oli kuitenkin asiallinen ja rakentava. En ole varma, palveleeko tuollainen sävykään suomalaista talouspolitiikkaa – tai keskustelua siitä.

Ymmärrän. Itse tulkitsin vain sen heti lyhyen aikavälin keskusteluksi, kun kritiikki kohdistui VM:n käyttämään kertoimeen. Tuskin hekään kerrointa ovat pohtineet muuta kuin lyhyttä aikaväliä silmälläpitäen.

Juu, minä vain ymmärsin että tuossa toisessa ketjussa ei ollut puhe rakenteellisesta alijäämän pienentämisestä, vaan sen nimenomaan lyhyen aikavälin vaikutuksista, kun kerta kertoimet oli puheissa.
Ymmärsin, että tuossa toisessa ketjussa aloittaja puhui lyhyen aikavälin vaikutuksista. Liittyen keskusteluun siitä kuinka huonossa suhdanteessa julkisten menojen sopeutus saattaa lyhyellä aikavälillä heikentää tilannetta. Näihin vaikutuksiinhan fipo-kerroin on merkityksellinen.
