This doesn't require any state to perform marriages, however. Only to recognize them from other states. Which they did not do anyway when SSM was legal in Mass and Cal. I'm a US veteran married to a non-white naturalized citizen of the same sex. Just gotta survive the next 4 years.

This was a new subway dig in the oldest part of town with significant amounts of known and unknown utilities under it. It will eventually pay for itself. More amazing is that there's no subway access to other areas like Golden Gate park. The Central Subway is our only North/South leg.

I live in SF. There's a bus stop a half block from my front door. But the busses are so packed with people, they drive by waiting passengers and leave them waiting another 15-20 minutes for the next bus--which is also likely to drive right by. Waymo is reliable.
