I have quite a few all day sessions on it now. Has such an addicting sound going into my vox with just a tad of gain. Im getting a cool Keith Richards type tone, bit of Lennon and Dave Davies sounds just from them wonderful pickups. Have you kept stock machine heads? I could dig a higher ratio
Hell Ya!
Right on, I remember you talking about it. Looks like it has a 3.5 input for stuff like backing tracks which is of interest, most BT audio in or out stuff has a latency and seeing ability to hardwire in and/or out is of much interest. Think I'll see if I can find one local to try out.
It is not scheduled to be delivered until tomorrow but that hasn't stopped me from running to the window every time I hear a truck drive by
I have gotten better with the arthritis, since my filleting I totally cut out any white sugar cane or corn syrup I get less inflamed so pain is almost 0, only small amounts of honey or real maple in the bread we bake. What was that amp u were using? Spark, flame, something..? lol
Yes! a bit higher than my tele or strat pu's. I have a couple tube amps & tube/SS modeling amp - I am excited to sit down & check out all the combos. I see too that everything is nickel instead of cheap chroming. Due to arthritis I usually run 8-38's so might have to change nut or rework.
I remember years back guys complained about the PU's but I think they were different, these are Alinco 5 & have that signature p90 sound/dynamics where that vol pot really works from chime to growl, at least what I've come know. Spec says CTS pots so I plan just to Intonate, plug in & go OOB player!
@roybent.bsky.social - I finally pulled the trigger - should be here in a day or 2 (I wanted this color), hoping it is same as ones I tried out. Had my heart set on the BB King Lucille model with the Varitone and buckers but the A5 P-90's just sing like nothing l have, pretty stoked here!
Thanks to all that took part in
#DDAY80GB - Some super talented modelers here for sure!

Settling in for a Friday's Eve of figure building, cleanup & painting a tank crew + couple infantry aka me goofing up & googly eye'ing 1:35 figures π After 50 years of model building I still have a long ways to go on figures - wish me luck

Hope everyone is well #DDAY80GB looking great so far I still have items to finish on my bench & sorta locked myself out of bluesky for a bit by goofing up my PW Juggling recovery & trying to keep income by doing some work out of my home bike shop. Weather is great and the jobs have been rolling in
